Yes, though this will possibly make your recruiter mad, as by this point he will have put in many hours doing paperwork for you. That's time he could have used getting another poolee. Be absolutely sure you are going to do it before you start filling out paperwork.

The U.S.M.C. is a branch of the U.S. military, and the Marine Force Recon is an extremely small part of the Marine Corps Recon division. Its like the Corps Navy SEALS...only better...it takes alot of hard work, dedication, and a massive amount of motivation...and even with all that there's still a HUGE chance you won't make it...thats how exclusive it is.
