If you have Google+, the icon you click to summon the settings menu will appear as your profile photo, with the +Share button directly to the left. Following the +Share button to the left, there is the Google+ notifications button and your name.

Clicking your name will also bring you to the settings menu, and clicking the Google+ notifications button will summon a pop-up that displays the 9 most recent Google+ notifications. Clicking the +Share button will summon a pop-up that you can use to share text, images, videos, links, or events with your circles on Google+.

There is a notification button up in the upper left side. If you click it, then go to the bottom of it, you can see something at the bottom which says something like "See All Notifications" click on it, and it will lead you to a page with all your notifications
