(electronics) The ratio of the power delivered by a transducer to the power absorbed by the input circuit of the transducer. Also known as power amplification.
(electromagnetism) An antenna ratio equal to 4π (12.57) times the ratio of the radiation intensity in a given direction to the total power delivered to the antenna.
