There are two scientifically proven types of dreaming:
* Normal Dreaming - which we all experience for an average of
100 minutes every night. The average person may only remember one
dream per night but this can be improved by keeping a dream
journal. * Lucid Dreaming - is a skill that anyone can develop by
practicing certain memory techniques and raising their
self-awareness. It requires the realization that you are dreaming
in order to become conscious and control the dream itself. People
have been having lucid dreams for thousands of years but it was
only formally categorized in the 1970s. Some people claim (but it
is not scientifically proven) to perform:
* Precognitive Dreaming - dreams which predict the future. *
Mutual Dreaming - where people meet up in a dream.
