While I can't answer your question with 100% accuracy, I can tell you what has been true for my family. In the case of my family, it seems that premonitory dreams are in fact hereditary seeing as how 90% of the women in my family have been known to have them.

People often claim to have had premonitory feelings or dreams before a serious accident or disaster, but I had no clue that car was going to hit me until I turned and saw it two feet from my face coming at 55 mph.

At the premonitory sound of their mother's car pulling into the driveway, the kids quickly switched off the TV, stashed the cookies under the couch, and whipped out their homework.

any thiongs scare you when you have a fear to loose something either tangible or intangible. so come out of that fear and take of things you dont want to let go but dont show the passion to keep or to have it with you forever. this way the fear might get nullified.

There are two scientifically proven types of dreaming:

* Normal Dreaming - which we all experience for an average of 100 minutes every night. The average person may only remember one dream per night but this can be improved by keeping a dream journal. * Lucid Dreaming - is a skill that anyone can develop by practicing certain memory techniques and raising their self-awareness. It requires the realization that you are dreaming in order to become conscious and control the dream itself. People have been having lucid dreams for thousands of years but it was only formally categorized in the 1970s. Some people claim (but it is not scientifically proven) to perform:

* Precognitive Dreaming - dreams which predict the future. * Mutual Dreaming - where people meet up in a dream.
