To prestige you must first get to level 80 and get all the xp for it. Next you want to go to barracks ( where your challenges are ) and go down to prestige mode. It will ask you three times if you want to prestige. If you want to prestige you click yes for them all. Now you are prestiged.

Yes you kind of do. When u prestige, it takes all your money away. So u are kinda paying for prestige. So spend all ur money before u prestige.

if your on about the career mode then you need to complete it and get all the Intel for the special ops mode to get 3 stars on all missions and i believe past level 15 on all levels and in multiplayer to prestige once and you get an extra 100% for ever other prestige you get
