Pride of Performance is a civil award given by the Government of Pakistan to Pakistanis for distinguished merit in the fields of literature, arts, sports, medicine, or science for civilians. Once a year it is announced on Independence Day and given on Pakistan Day by the President of Pakistan. This award has no particular standing in Pakistani civil decorations hierarchy, but is regarded as one of the highest honours in Pakistan.
