Prince Ali bin al Hussein of Jordan (Arabic: الأمير علي بن الحسين) (born on 23 December 1975) is the only son of the late King Hussein of Jordan and his third wife, Alia Baha ed Toukan.
Education
Prince Ali attended Deerfield Academy for a year, but did not graduate. After leaving Deerfield Academy, Prince Ali then attended Salisbury School, a preparatory school in CT, for two years. He did not graduate from Salisbury either, as he left early to attend the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in England.
He was recently presented with an honorary diploma from Deerfield Academy, as a member of the class of 2006.
Marriage and children
On 23 April 2004 Prince Ali married Algerian-born Rym Brahimi, a former CNN journalist and daughter of Lakhdar Brahimi, United Nations Special Representative for Afghanistan. The marriage was publicly celebrated on 7 September 2004.
