Title given to C. P. E. Bach's Six Sonatas for keyboard w 48 (1742) and Haydn's six string quartets op.50 (1787), because of their dedications to Prussian royalty. Mozart's string quartets in D k 575, B♭ k 589 and F k 590 are similarly named.
