pyogenic granuloma
n

A tumorlike mass of granulation tissue produced in response to minor trauma in some individuals. It is not pus-producing, as the name suggests, but is highly vascular and bleeds readily. Pyogenic granulomas are histologically identical to pregnancy granulomas, but they may be found in either gender in any location, and may occur at any age.
