A very efficient flukicide which is also effective against Haemonchus contortus and Oestrus ovis. Available for both oral and injectable administration. There is a good safety margin but poisoning can occur in sheep with heavy doses. There is blindness, with degeneration of the optic nerve, recumbency, polypnea, clonic convulsions and death.
