In my line of work I spend a lot of time traveling and going to conferences. I spend at least one weekend a month in Las Vegas, and I love it. It's my favorite place to attend boring business conferences. Not because I can get away with gambling or live entertainment, but because of Raku. Raku offers the best Traditional Yakitori grill dishes. They are precise and perfect and you will not find better Japanese food in Las Vegas. The restaurant is located about ten to fifteen minutes away from the strip, but it is well worth going out of your way. While the building does feel a little rundown when you first see it from the outside, don't let the view discourage you from eating there! Once you enter the restaurant teems with character and charm. Raku offers a cozy, intimate atmosphere with extremely attentive and always spot-on servers and amazing food. What else could you ask for?Raku offers a wide variety of perfect, grourmet sushi and sashimi but if that's just not your thing they also offer plenty of meats grilled to Yakitori perfection. I usually start with some of Raku's homemade tofu or their amazing Pached Egg with Sea Urchin and Salmon Roe. Once I've finished the appetizer I move on to either the Kobe Beef Liver or the Yellowtail with Glazed Soy-base sauce. If you want to experience Raku, but don't have a good enough understanding of Japanese cusine then they have the perfect option for you. Raku offers a special Omakase, a chef's course created from menu items and faily specials. It's like eating a sampler platter of amazing and exquisite dishes. If you plan to visit Las Vegas nevada any time soon Raku is a must. I reccomend Raku to anyone who is coming within 2 states of Nevada. Even if you have to drive four or five hours to get there it is well worth your time.
