Built in the 13th Century by Richard Og De Burgh, 2nd Earl of Ulster

The last recognised native prince of Wales was Magog ap Llywelyn who was defeated in the Battle of Maes Moydog in 1295 not by King Edward, but by one of his commanders, William de Beauchamp, 9th Earl of Warwick.

Richard Beauchamp - bishop - died on 1481-10-18.

"Earl of Warwick" is a noble title in the United Kingdom, first created in 1088. The line of title has died out and been created anew three times since then.

The current Earl of Warwick (April 2009) is Guy David Greville, 9th Earl of Warwick & 9th Earl Brooke.
