Rip

First thing to think about is copyright. Is it legal for you to rip that DVD?

You can rip music from your iPod to your computer, then to Windows Movie Maker. But, you can't rip it directly from the iPod unless the removable device files can be located through the browse feature.

In other words, it's probably easier to copy the iPod audio to your computer before importing. But, if you are able to locate the device, copy the files from it directly and find it faster, go for it.

A Rip has a few meanings but a common meaning is a Rip as in the ocean rip.
