Describes a method of scheduling broadcast commercial time on local stations or networks. On local stations, a local roadblock will present the same commercial on all stations at the same time on a given day in a given area. A network roadblock would air the same commercial at the same time on the same day on all networks. Advertisers will request roadblock scheduling when they want fast, broad coverage for their product or service.
