Robert Teitel is an American film producer.
Teitel is most notable for producing the films Soul Food (1997), Men of Honor (2000), and the three films in the Barbershop series: Barbersop, Barbershop 2: Back in Business, and Beauty Shop. He is also co-producer of the television series Barbershop: The Series.
He is a 1990 graduate of Columbia College Chicago. He has been associated with writer/director George Tillman, Jr. since they were students together at Columbia College.
He recently announced that he will begin filming a documentary in Chicago on Illinois State Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias while at a group gathering at the home of real estate financier Sean J. Conlon.
