A ROM in general is .. well the file of the game.

You need to put it on an emulator, like VBA,

or download it on to a cartridge to work it.

Rom? My real Emerald CARTRIDGE restarts just like that! It may be problems with the download or manufacturing. You might want to download your Rom from somewhere else.

You might be able to find the cartridge on ebay.

The first one is the CD-ROM, the second one is the DVD-ROM, then the DVD-RAM, then the WORM-SAVE, then the Blueray and at least the eresable storages.

Try changing the NDS cartridge backup media in the emulation set-up menu
