I can think of four Roman Civil Wars offhand.

1) Marius versus Sulla.

2) Julius Caesar versus Pompey.

3) Octavian & Marc Antony versus Brutus & Cassius.

4) Octavian versus Marc Antony.

To answer the question, the Roman Civil Wars were about who should hold the power. The four above-named civil wars refer to the Roman Republic. In the declining years of the Roman Principate they fought civil wars again, and although this contributor is less familiar with them, the answer remains the same.

Addition:

There is some confusion between such terminology as Roman Revolution and Roman Civil Wars. The former began with the assassianation of the Gracchi brothers who attempted reforms in the 130s-120s BCE and was followed by periodic outbreaks of internal wars over the next century until terminated by Octavian's autocratic settlement after his victory in 31 BCE.
