One whose main activity is selling a product, service, or investment. Salespersons in many industries (real estate, insurance, securities) must be licensed.

One who is licensed to deal in real estate or perform any other act enumerated by state real estate License laws, while under the supervision of a Broker licensed by the state.
Example: A salesperson arranges a 90-day Listing on a house, which is accepted by the broker. Another salesperson shows the home to a prospective buyer. The sale is closed, and Commissions are collected by the broker and shared with the salespersons.
