Rig Veda, Athar Veda, Yug Veda, and Sama Veda

Vedas are four books of sacred Hindu writing which are; the Rig-Veda, the Sama-Veda, the Atharva-Veda, and the Yajur-Veda. Vedas are important because they are a very high source of teachings.

It is the Rig Veda and not rgveda. In Hinduism, there are four such vedas, Rig Veda-the oldest, Sama veda, Atharva Veda and the Yajur Veda. These are considered to be sacred and they enlighten a human on how to lead a life peacefully and what salvation means.

The second Veda is the Sama Veda. It primarily consists of verses and hymns from the Rig Veda set to music for chanting during rituals.

There are four Vedas in Hinduism: Rigveda, Samaveda, Yajurveda, and Atharvaveda. Each Veda consists of hymns, prayers, rituals, and philosophical teachings that are considered sacred scriptures in Hindu tradition.
