Scamper was an American, Boston-based power pop / rock band, formed in 2001 by singer-songwriter-guitarists Keith Michel and Nate Rogers, along with drummer Mike Mirabella and bassist Marc Roderick. In 2004, Brendan Boogie replaced Marc on bass.

Scamper were finalists in the 2006 WBCN Rock & Roll Rumble and have supported such acts as Nada Surf, OK Go, The Click Five, Juliette Lewis, Kay Hanley (ex-Letters to Cleo), Damone, and We Are Scientists.

Scamper performed their final show on February 2, 2008 at the Middle East in Cambridge, Massachusetts, before going into an "indefinite hiatus."[1] In April 2009, the former members of Scamper reunited for a one-time show.

Brendan Boogie has gone on to front Brendan Boogie and the Best Intentions (formerly the Brendan Boogie Band) and host a series of tribute shows called The Cover Up, and in 2009 Nate and Mike launched a new band called The Future Everybody.
