Scanner Technologies' technology scans integrated circuits (ICs) for accuracy. The company makes machine vision equipment used during semiconductor manufacturing. Its UltraVim and UltraVim Plus modules are used for 2-D and 3-D inspection of leaded and ball grid array ICs, and its UltraMark device checks the accuracy of markings on printed or etched ICs. Singapore-based chip equipment supplier Manufacturing Integration Technology accounts for more than half of Scanner's sales.
