The Scouting and Guiding Federation of Turkey members wear a scout shirt and a scarf. Colors depend on the age group or other groups they are a part of.

Lebanese Scouting Federation was created in 1961.

Turkiye Izcileri Federasyonu (TIF) or Scouting and Guiding Federation of Turkey, has 2883 Guide members as of January 1, 2006. It also serves 33,974 Scouts (as of 2011) and is a member of both the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) and the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS).

In Turkey, they are called Girl Guides and are members of the "Scouting and Girl Guiding Federation of Turkey."

There are five levels of Girl Guides in Turkey:

Smurf: ages 5 to 7

Star: ages 7 to 11

Guide: ages 11 to 15

Venture Guide: ages 15 to 18

Young Adults: ages 18 to 22

There were Girl Guides in Turkey as early as 1912.

The central governing body for both Boy Scouts and Girl Guides, the Directorate of Scouting and Guiding, was founded in 1936.
