Scripps Networks Interactive (NYSE: SNI) is an American media company formed on July 1, 2008 as a spin off of the E.W. Scripps Company. The company is headquartered inside the Scripps Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. Among its portfolio of assets are Travel Channel, HGTV, Food Network, DIY, Fine Living, Great American Country, Shopzilla, uSwitch; associated websites; associated HD simulcast channels; and new media content using the SNI asset portfolio. It also operates independent websites frontdoor.com, recipezaar.com, and ecologue.com.
On November 5, 2009 it was announced that Scripps Networks Interactive paid $1.1 billion for a 65% interest in the Travel Channel. [1]
SNI's Chairman and CEO is Kenneth W. Lowe.
Headquarters are in Knoxville, TN.
