That a disease is sexually transmittable does not mean that you are infected after having had sex.
You are of course at high risk.
Some people have a very strong immunesystem and will in many cases not get infected.
Other people have such a weak immunesystem that one would think they get infected by looking at a person with a disease.
It also depends on what type of STD your husband has got.
I would recommend you to consult your preferred doctor and go through a full checkup.
Your husband should of course get treatment and you should not take part in any sexual act unprotected until he is clear from the disease. Condoms is among the only things that can prevent a viral or bacterial STM.
Note that I wrote "can". it is not 100% certain that it will, depending on the disease of course.
I myself would not consider having unprotected sex with a person having AIDS(as in HIV) for the purpose of having a baby.
If wanting a baby with a partner who has got AIDS, then I would suggest either a sperm donor, or if this is out of the question, try to ask a lab about artifichal insemination with his sperm. There are procedures known as "sperm washing".
From internet:
In this age of effective HIV medications and near normal life expectancies, having a family while living with HIV is a real possibility; as real as it is for any couple. HIV and pregnancy is no longer impossible. In couples whose partners are both HIV positive or couples with a negative man and a positive woman, conception and holds relatively few risks when compared to the reward of being a parent. But what of those couples with an HIV positive man and a negative woman? This type of serodiscordant couple presents a very substantial risk to the negative partner; the woman. There is one option that is beginning to show promise in preventing HIV transmission to an HIV negative woman. Sperm washing is becoming a viable option in those serodiscordant couples wanting to conceive a child and start a family.
