serpentine is acually a belt that runs all your under the hood
componets, alternator, power steering ect... this belt is very easy
to change
not true, for most cars and trucks thats true but there are some
that have 2 belts ones a serpentine the other is a V-belt, my 93
sunbird 2.0 has both, to answer your question just think of the
first word in serpintine, serpin and in this case meaning snake or
inperticular to coil like one, techniclly both are V-belts b ut
serpintine is a differant type V-belt, the old V-belts just went
straight around the pullys, serpintines wind all around, butch
