The scientific name for the piranha is Pygocentrus nattereri .it means piro eater from the latin word pero

There are a few pet store if you phone around you can find them but i know pats pets in regina can get them and usually have them in stock along with petland. also feathers fins and fur in yorkton can order. Check spencer jack (chichlidaholic) in winnipeg gets some in the spring and is an awesome place, they are out of winnipeg but they ship to airports like regina or saskatoon but mostly get black piranha and other serrasalmus piranha witch are more agressive
