A telecom and IT services cooperative created by airlines to enable global information sharing, SITA has more than 600 members -- airlines, airports, aerospace companies, travel agencies, and governments -- in some 220 countries. SITA provides its customers with voice, data, Internet access, and Web hosting services, as well as other such services as baggage tracking, cargo management, ticket issuing, and passenger support. Subsidiaries OnAir and CHAMP Cargosystems provide in-flight mobile telephony services to airlines and IT services to the air cargo industry.
