It's quite easy to know, because in japan their musical market is huge and expensive, and also the Japanese people are very consumers and copycats of the American people. The market of music in Japan is for granted and safe to be sold.

Most of the Japanese people don't buy their own records and almost the 70% of those CD's are sold around the world. The quality is outstanding, and sometimes rhere are good bonus tracks but sometimes also the bonus tracks suck because of the marketing. The cool thing is that sometimes there are exclusives realeases only for japan, or in a manner to say to be manufactured only in japan.

Most of the time it sucks when a Japanese CD is re released time after and they are cheaper and with the same bonus tracks.

I hope that I have helped to answer rhis question.
