RockTenn CP doesn't think outside the box, it thinks about the box. The company, formerly Smurfit-Stone Container Corp., produces corrugated packaging (CP), containerboard, kraft paper for bags, market pulp, and solid bleached sulfate (SBS) for folding cartons, as well as offers a slate of graphic design services. Holding 145 facilities primarily in North America, RockTenn CP is one of the world's largest recyclers of paper fiber, a raw material used in making the company's products. RockTenn CP buys its wood fiber on the open market, indirectly owns timberland in Canada, and operates nurseries and harvesting facilities in the US and Canada. It is a subsidiary of Rock-Tenn, which acquired the CP-maker in 2011.
