Lady So Seo-no (Hangul: 소서노 Hanja: 召西奴) was the wife of King Dongmyeong (Jumong), and remembered as a key figure in the founding of both Goguryeo and Baekje. She was the mother of Biryu and the first King of Baekje, Onjo.

On the road to establishing two kingdoms
A traditional account from the "Annals of Baekje" section in the Samguk Sagi, says that she was the daughter of Yeon Ta-bal, a wealthy influential figure in Jolbon[1] and married to Jumong. However, the same source officially states that the king of Jolbon Buyeo gave his daughter to Jumong, who had escaped with his followers from Dongbuyeo, in marriage. She gave her husband financial support[2] in founding the new statelet, Goguryeo. After Yuri, son of Jumong and his first wife, Lady Ye, came from Dongbuyeo and succeeded Jumong, she left Goguryeo, taking her two sons Biryu and Onjo south to found their own kingdoms.
Death
She died in 6 BC at the age of 61,[2] after her second son Onjo had become the first king of Baekje.
