Split platform

Wikipedia: Split platform

A split platform is a railroad term used to describe a railway station that has a platform for each track, split on to two or more levels. This setup is not common in North American railroad stations, but is found in some places in Europe such as the London Underground. One example of this layout in the United States is Wheaton Station, on the Washington Metro's Red Line.
