Tony Ryall is the Minister for State-Owned Enterprises for New Zealand.

Dahlan Iskan is the State Minister for State-Owned Enterprises for Indonesia.

The government will float 49% of the shares in four state-owned enterprises (SOEs): Genesis Energy, Meridian Energy, Mighty River Power, and Solid Energy. They will also sell some of their shares in Air New Zealand, which is already a listed company (the government only owns about 75% of Air New Zealand, the rest is owned by private shareholders).

All the state-owned enterprises, state organs, big hospitals, or some big private enterprises have their own unions.

In New Zealand, the term "state house" refers to some 66000 public housing offered to New Zealanders on low to moderate incomes. These houses and managed and owned by the government.
