No. To the best of my knowledge there are no cruise ships that have a computer in every stateroom. However, there are many that have internet access, either hard-wired or Wi-Fi, available throughout the ship if you bring your own laptop or tablet to use.

Before you board your next cruise, make sure you research Radiance of the Seas Deck Plans online. You can find deck plans on your cruiseline's website, and they are a great way to plan your vacation. The deck plans can help you determine which stateroom to select. For instance, you can check to make sure that a room you are considering is not next to the elevators if you do not want a lot of noise.

Yes. All cruise ships are required to have at least one life jacket per passenger (you can find them in your stateroom). Before the ship sails, passengers are required to participate in a life jacket/life boat drill.

1 answer

You can get an upgrade on an interior stateroom if you book during a promotion. For example, I always book my cruises on www.travelyorkie.com and when I book I look for cruises that offer 2 cat upgrades or 4 cat upgrades depending on what ship and what time you book. Then and only then will you qualify for an upgrade. I use travelyorkie.com to book my carnival cruises because I find the best deals there and their customer service agent told me that they are one of the largest bookers with carnival cruise lines... You should check it out the next time you go so you can get the upgrade you desire. I just finished booking a cruise for myself on November 13th on Carnival and received a 2 cat upgrade using that site.

Pack a day bag to keep with you during your embarkation process. Prior to boarding, you will leave your luggage to be delivered directly to your stateroom. However, this can take up to six hours. Much like on an airline, ensure you pack your medications, perhaps a bathing suit and anything else you require to enjoy your first hours aboard.

You can book a 7 day Bahama cruise for as little as $499 if you don't care where your stateroom is located. An oceanview room is about $200 more and a suite would run about $1,100. Prices include room, meals and entertainment on board, but do not include Shore Excursions or personal expenses. Destination and length of the cruise is also a factor, as is transportation to your boarding location.

Reasonably priced Caribbean cruises could be gotten for as little as $169 for interior stateroom, $204 for oceanview, and $429 for suites. On the Carnival lines, the trip would leave from Miami and Key West ports and travel to Cozumel, Mexico. The less expensive packages do not gratuities or alcoholic beverages. But they do include entertainment and on-board meals. There's casino and gambling. Cozumel offers Maya ruins and the great beaches of Playa del Carmen.

There are the beds which vary with how many people are staying in your room. There is a tv in the corner of the room.Lights in random places around the room plus a sort of wall lamp. A sort of table/cabinet/ben that has your lifejackets in it plus things can be placed on top. There is one plug in the room plus another in the bathroom although it is for electric razors. There is a small counter which once you get to your room has some soda's, glasses, ice bucket, free pen, some papers including the ships activities etc on it. There is usually a stool or two in each room. There is an open closet(still small) where you can hang clothes. This is where the complimentary robes are. Then there is a closet with some shelving in it and this is where the safe is located. There is also a trash can which can be moved around as you please. The bathroom is very small but contains a toilet, sink, mirror that opens up to reveal some shelves for items, and the shower. This is from experience of a ocean view window stateroom. So the answer highly depends on the kind of stateroom. To be honest there is not much that was in my room but you wont be in your room except to sleep so it does not matter all that much anyway!

On a vessel where the 'driving' is done is called the wheelhouse or the bridge. The kitchen is called the galley and the place to eat is called the messdeck or simply the "mess". A Cabin, stateroom or berthing is often used to describe sleeping quarters. More often than not, the toilet/bathroom is called the head. There are not hallways, but passage ways or "p-ways". Also there are a few general terms used to describe "rooms" on board vessels. They can be called compartments and spaces. A lot of the terms depend on the size and type of vessel.
