What would still be wrong if I Replaced high pressure hose of the power steering and reservoir is still not holding power steering fluid and power steering is wining and is hard to turn sometimes?
Answer . There is another leak somewhere, check the rack and other lines and hoses.. * * * * * *. Check the belt too; it might be loose. My Diamante's pump was making all …sorts of fun sounds; I checked the belt and it was much looser than it should have been, in addition to being worn out. I replaced it and tightened it, and no more noise!. -----. Is it possible, it requires a full reservoir of fluid which will be absorbed when the system is primed, then the system needs bleeding to get the air out(usually by full locking it from left to right), and finally a top up. This was the case with my rover, you can also notice the fluid being aerated, so you should let it rest with the cap off and repeat the procedure until the system becomes stable, air pockets in the system will cause the god awful grinding noise and loss of assistance.
