The Style Network is an American cable television network based in Los Angeles, California. It is part of a group of channels owned by Comcast.
A sister channel of E!, Style features fashion, design, interior decoration, and trendy urban lifestyles. Its slogan is "Before meets After." The network's series include Ruby, Split Ends, The Dish, Clean House, How Do I Look? and Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane.
The channel was launched in the Arab World in December 2007 on Orbit Showtime;[citation needed] across Southern Africa during November 2007 on DStv,[citation needed] in the United Kingdom on June 10, 2008 and in Japan on World On-Demand.[1] It is scheduled to launch in Poland and Romania. The Style Network launched in Australia on November 15, 2009.
Fashion Fundraiser
The Style & Image Network created a fashion fundraiser in 2005, called Fashion Fights Poverty (FFP)[2]. Fashion Fights Poverty believes that the industries of textiles, fashion, and design offer effective opportunities for designers and consumers to contribute to the abatement of poverty. The mission of FFP is to increase the awareness of poverty.
