and comes out through stylomastoid foramen to supply the muscles of
facial expression.

The auditory nerve is associated with facial nerve. Both of them
exits the skull through the internal acoustic meatus. The facial
nerve leaves the skull through stylomastoid foramen to go to the
face. This nerve is also associated with the sense of hearing and
balance.
