Sun Ce is the full name of the second master of the kingdom Wu, son of Sun Jian and elder brother of SunQuan. He was skillful in military affairs and strict with the subordinates. Wu's territory expand quickly during his reign but his bad temper also incurred grudges for him. He was assassinated by his rivals at his 26. His other name is Sun Bo-fu (孙伯符), and nicknamed Xiao Ba-wang (小霸王) or "junior overlord" because of the heroism.

Sun Quan is the full name of the third master of the kingdom Wu. At his 19, he became the successor of his brother Sun Ce. Though young and inexperienced, he easily proved to be a talented leader by his intelligence. Finally, he proclaimed himself as the emperor of Wu, thus called Wu Da-di (吴大帝). His other name is Sun Zhong-mou (孙仲谋).
