Sunwing Airlines Inc. is an airline headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is a subsidiary of Sunwing Travel Group and is a sister company to Sunwing Vacations/Vacances Sunwing, headquartered in Toronto.[1] Sunwing Airlines offers scheduled and charter service to Canada, United States, Mexico and the Caribbean.

History
Sunwing Vacations started its own in-house airline in November 2005 using Boeing 737-800s to operate flights from Canada to the USA, Mexico, the Caribbean and also operate domestic flights. The key executive running the day-to-day operations of the airline is Mark Williams, who previously was President of Skyservice Airlines. Williams has spent more than twenty years in the airline industry in Canada including Wardair and Canadian Airlines.
Sunwing Airlines merged with Signature and Sell Off Vacations on September 29th 2009. After merging, Sunwing signed a partnership deal with the UK based TUI Travel With this merge, Sunwing seats can now be filled by both Signature Vacations and Sell Off Vacations.com. Sunwing is expecting a 10th Boeing 737-800WL by 2010. They are also expecting another 737-800WL as well as 2, 737-700WL leased from TUI Travel, although these have not been fully confirmed yet.
