T-Mobile USA, a subsidiary of Germany-based Deutsche Telekom, provides wireless voice and data communications services to subscribers throughout the US. The company's approximately 32 million customers use its GSM (global system for mobile communications) network domestically and are able to connect to the compatible network of its parent company when in Europe.
