Sleek and sharp-featured, Tatjana Patitz was most famous in the 1990s, when she was known for her Calvin Klein ads and her cover photos for Vogue, Elle and other magazines. Born in Germany and raised in Sweden, she is generally better known in Europe than in the U.S.; some Americans know her from her appearance in George Michael's supermodel-riddled music video for his hit Freedom 90. Patitz appeared in the 1994 Sean Connery film Rising Sun, getting bumped off at the start of the show. Her sister, Sophie Patitz, is also a model.

Tatjana Patitz (born March 25, 1966) is a German supermodel and actress.

Patitz was born in Hamburg, Germany and raised in Skanör, Sweden. She began working as a model in Paris at the age of 17. By 1990, she had become one of the great supermodels that would dominate the 1990s, appearing on over 130 magazine covers in the course of her career. In 1987 she filmed the Duran Duran video for the song "Skin Trade" from the album Notorious. She then moved to California to begin a career as an actress. Her first appearance was a brief one as a murder victim in Rising Sun (1993). Following this, Patitz made several appearances on television series, music videos, and films. Her largest role was in the 1999 thriller Restraining Order.

Was one of the top models featured in George Michael's Freedom 1990 video, along with Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista, and Naomi Campbell.

Patitz has a son. She had a long-term relationship with singer Seal but the couple separated. Patitz's younger sister, Sophie, has also worked as a fashion model.
