There are many different types of jackrabbits.The antelope
jackrabbit lives in Arizona and in the states
Chihuahua,Nayarit,Sinaloa, and Sonora in Mexico.The Black-Tailed
Jackrabbit ranges from the western United States to Mexico and
lives up on altitudes varying up to 3,000 meters above sea
level.The White-sided Jackrabbit lives only from Southern New
Mexico to Central Mexico.It is also found in some areas in North
America.The endangered Tehuantepec Jackrabbit lives in most
Tropical dry savannas and a rare thing about this rabbit is that
its true geographic range is not recorded in detail but it is
guessed that it usually lives or lived along the Mexican Pacific
Coast on the Isthmus of Tehuantepec from Salina Cruz in Oaxaca to
Tonalá in Chiapas.The black rabbit is (according to data)
specifically endemic to Mexico.The White-tailed jackrabbit lives in
the Western United states and in Yellowstone National park.
