Game Description
After bringing the beatdown to arcades across the country, Namco's premier 3D fighting series returns to Sony's home console in Tekken 2. The follow-up features the original game's fast and fluid style, with new reversals and throws, more powerful tackles from a distance, and other additions. Each character has a new introduction scene and unique animation sequences. Along with an accurate translation of the arcade's popular 3D fighting game sequel, the PlayStation version of Tekken 2 features "Survival," "Battle," and "Practice" modes that allow players to hone their battle skills at their own pace. Original combatants such as Heihachi, Law, Phoenix, and Yoshimitsu are joined by newcomers Lei Wulong, Jun Kazama, and others. In all, the game offers 23 larger-than-life fighters, in 23 different stages, each with its own original theme music.~ T.J. Deci, All Game Guide
