The Ascension is the title of the forthcoming studio album by OTEP. Originally set for a March 20, 2007 release through Capitol Records, the album has been delayed indefinitely due to the recent Capitol/Virgin Records merger.[1][2][3] The band's status with Capitol Records is unknown, as they have stated that "the album will be released as soon as corporately possible.

September 5th, 2007 KOCH RECORDS "Releases, Otep's highly anticipated 3rd Album On October 30th, 2007 "[4] The album leaked on July 10th.
