My favorite mid-late female groups were "The Shirelles" and "Martha and the Vandellas"...others I listened to were the "Ronettes", the "Orlons", the "Shangra-las" and "The Toys", who had a very successful song released called "Lover's Concherto". The greatest single voice was held by Arleen Smith of the "Chantels", and #2 on that list was "Timi Yuro" for her great hit "Hurt."
