The Daily Progress
The Daily Progress is the sole daily paper in the vicinity of Charlottesville, Virginia. Published continuously for over 100 years, it is now owned by Richmond-based Media General. While widely known for its ever-changing flock of youthful reporters, it now contains some veteran journalists. They include feature-penning Vietnam vet David Maurer, award-winning Bryan McKenzie, and political commentator Bob Gibson.[1]
