The Matrix

(music producer)

The Matrix is a music production team, consisting of Scott Spock, Lauren Christy, Graham Edwards and new member Gary Clark . They gained fame in the early 2000s after producing a series of hits for Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears, OffByOne (band), Busted, Son of Dork and Hilary Duff. They soon started their own label, Let's Hear It Records, and hope to be releasing an album soon with their first signed artist, Lindsay Pagano.

Before her involvement in The Matrix, Lauren Christy had experienced moderate success as a singer-songwriter, releasing two albums for Mercury Records in the mid-1990s. She and Edwards are married. Gary Clark was formerly a member of Scottish band Danny Wilson , who had hits with "Mary's Prayer" and "The Second Summer of Love".
