Malta has an area of 316 square km, mainland France is about 550,500 square km. On that basis Malta could fit 1,524 times into France.

Malta have not yet qualified for a single world cup as yet.

Malta applied for membership to the EU once in 1990. After long talks and negotiations, the application was accepted in 2003 and Malta was admitted in 2004.

The Times of Malta is long standing news publication that supports the people of Malta, a European country. The publication provides information on general, sporting and business news as well as financials, including exchange rates and weather information.

The English took over Malta because it was during those times that the the Suez canal opened up. Since they also were ruling India, and the Suez canal was needed they could use Malta as a resting point, to refuel and get supplies.
