Biography

Bursting from the quietly thriving early-2000s indie rock scene in Louisville, KY, Thirty-Two Frames sought to revive the hardcore punk of '80s bands like Rites of Spring with a slight emo update. The quartet began as a side project for Jay Palumbo, a onetime member of both By the Grace of God and Elliott. When the vocalist/guitarist quit the latter band in 2000, Thirty-Two Frames became a full-time venture, comprised also of guitarist Jim Dzurovcak, bassist Jeremy Holehan, and drummer Thommy Browne. The band then signed with Revelation Records, released their self-titled debut EP in summer 2002, and toured with 7 Seconds that fall. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
