The Bible is not infallible. There is no evidence that it is Gods word. But there is evidence that it is a Hebrew idea (thoughtform). The Bible is considered to be Judeo Christian, although it has influences from Egypt, Persia, Greece, maybe even China and India.
It might be better to say that it is a God's word. There's no evidence of God himself ever existing, so there will not be any evidence that he decided what went into the bible. That's why most Christians will just tell you they have faith. See the related link on the left for a Christian perspective on the question. If the Bible is really God's word, then all it's Prophecies & Promises will be fulfilled, and the events will not contradict, agree? See link on left on Prophecy & Promises, History & Science and Absurdities in the Bible.
