Thought is commonly thought of as, loosely speaking, something
that is "in your head. They are what you think about because you
want to have a good thought most of the time." However, despite the
fact that thought is a fundamental human activity familiar to
everyone, there is no generally accepted agreement as to what
thought is or how it is created. There are a number of theories of
thought in the literature, including

(Baum) - a theory built on mental models
· Surfaces and Essences: Analogy as the Fuel and Fire of
Thinking (Hofstadter and Sander) - a theory built on analogies
· Unconscious Thought Theory- thought that is not conscious
